Mug

Porcelain, wheel thrown and altered, glaze, 6.25 x 4.5 x 3.5 inches.

Recipe: Hot Chocolate 

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups whole milk

1/2 cup half-and-half

4 ounces semi-sweet dark chocolate, chopped finely.

4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped finely.

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon - sea salt

A pinch of nutmeg

PROCESS:

Simmer milk and half-and-half on a low temperature. Once your mixture is heated, add your cocoa powder and whisk to incorporate. Slowly incorporate chopped chocolate while whisking continuously until fully melted. You can adjust the consistency by adding a bit more milk at this stage, if necessary. Add your nutmeg and salt and incorporate with a whisk. Serve in your favorite mug and, if you're feeling indulgent, add one shot of Five Farms Irish Cream Liquor.
