Hot Chocolate
Porcelain, wheel thrown, cone 6 oxidation fired, 4.25 x 5.25 x 3.75 inches.
Recipe: Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS:
Milk - any type that you like to drink
Chocolate chips - dark or semi sweet will work fine
Honey - I like dark honey, but you choose what you like to taste
Vanilla extract - just a dash for extra flavor
Red chili - a dash to make your hot chocolate a bit spicy. Be sure to check it as it's simmering to taste for spice
PROCESS:
Warm the milk and melt the chocolate chips in a pan. Be sure to whisk often as the chocolate melts. Cut the chili in half, remove the seeds. Whisk in some water, honey, cinnamon and vanilla to taste. Add the chili and allow the mix to come to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before drinking to allow the flavors to come together. Tip: be careful when handling the chili - and don't touch your eyes with chili fingers - ouch!!
